Can we Just keep driving Can we I don't care where we're going I don't care when we're arriving Windows down Nothing happens High beams passing aspens Can we Just keep driving Can We Rain drops racing Dreams we're chasing Why can't I just stay here with you Sunlights dying Stars start shining Not as bright as you Can we Just keep driving Can we Drop me off at the driveway I stand there watching you In your getaway subaru

I saw her, captivating Heard the call, no debating He came running, now we're seeking Set on You, hearts are waiting for your Beauty Holding Waiting for Your call Loving Forever Waiting we won't fall People Pleaser Hard-set appeaser He's got oxymorons up and down his forearms Then the light came crashing in Ring around his finger New souls on his feet Keeping love in his time No longer in the backseat Beauty Holding Waiting for Your call Loving Forever Waiting we won't fall Hold on, there's hope in the waiting 13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

On our cliff near the lake Waves will break, stars will wake We'll pack parachutes just in case (we fall) Holding hands and going no where Wrapped in flannels that you wear Evergrowing memories we share The forest animals, and the spies Sun in the green of your eyes On our cliff near the lake Trees will shake, breeze runs through your hair Disposable cameras burn and flare On our cliff in mid-June Mountains mapping out this tune We'll be there soon I wanna tell you Time keeps going faster The leaves are changing colors and my guitar goes outta tune I wanna ask you Are we just the present or is there a tomorrow Beginning or ending There is no sorrow Time is all we borrow I wanna ask you Will I see you tomorrow?

about

Mark Rennemeyer's debut EP, Passengers, is an Alt Rock haven with blissful vocals and melodies over soaring guitars and mellow acoustic grooves. Drawing inspiration from early Coldplay, The Backseat Lovers, Wallows, The Strokes, Bon Iver, and George Ezra; it encapsulates dreamy indie rock and stargazed acoustic campfire ballads.

Originally created as an anniversary gift, the project reflects shared memories of driving up the Rocky Mountains and listening to music from the mentioned artists, and explores themes of youth, trusting in God, and navigating the challenges of love. Enjoy Passengers - EP!
